The college is located in Bangalore's finest area, Whitefield, which is an IT Corridor of the city. With World class faculty and infrastructure, CMR Institute of technology is regarded as one of the top colleges in Bangalore for engineering. The college is affiliated to VTU and approved by AICTE.
