The Library and information centre was established in 1963 in the same year of establishment of the college. The library of RVIT College Bangalore has a vast collection of books, journals, publications and reference material. The library has also become digitised in keeping with a change in times.
Apart from academics, the college gives utmost importance to sports and cultural programs. For this purpose the college has a separate department of Physical Education and sports. It was established along with the establishment of the college in 1963 and is affiliated to VTU Belgaum. The college hosts an annual sports day every year. For the purpose of encouraging sports, the college has outdoor and indoor sports facilities like cricket field, volley ball, and badminton, chess, gym and tennis courts.
RVCE has separate laboratories for each department. The laboratories are well stocked in accordance with the curriculum. Each laboratory is under the supervision of well experienced faculty and support staff.
The food court at Rashtriya Vidyalaya College of Engineering Bangalore has a capacity of 1000 students at a single time. The food court serves hygienic and clean food at all times.
RV college of engineering has its own fleet of buses to ferry students to and from college on a daily basis. The buses have convenient pick up and drop points all over the city of Bangalore.
The college has a branch of Kotak Mahindra Bank counter and ATM within the campus premises.
RV College of engineering Bangalore has its own health centre or sick bay for emergency situations for students and faculty. There is a standby ambulance at the Health Centre.
The college also believes in sustainable growth and therefore has made provisions for rain water harvesting, reverse osmosis water treatment plant and sewage treatment apart from other sustainable growth programs.
RVCE Bangalore has separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostels have one common mess for students within the hostels.

RV College of Engineering Admissions are through CET, COMEDK or any prescribed National Entrance Test
Students are required to have a minimum of 70% in math and science separately in 10th Board exams, 65% in Physics and Mathematics in 11th grade and 60% in Physics and Mathematics separately in12th Boards.Â
Students seeking admission in RV College of Engineering through management quota must note that all admissions are directly through the college management.

On receipt of the same parents will be personally advised by the management on the next step of admissions.
