The college has separate hostels for boys and girls. The boys hostel has a total capacity of 500 boys and the girls hostel can house 200 students at a given time. The AMC Engineering College Hostel have all modern facilities for comfortable boarding and lodging. The hostel rooms are divided into single occupancy, twin sharing and triple sharing rooms.
AMC College of Engineering Bangalore has transport facilities that run buses throughout the city of Bangalore. There is a transport office within the college that looks into the transport facilities.
The library is described as a knowledge hub of the college. It has a seating capacity of 200 students. The reading area is well lit to enable students to read comfortably within the college library hours. The library has a wide range of books and reference material for students and faculty.
The canteen facilities at AMC College of Engineering provide excellent services to the students, serving multi cuisine food to day scholars and residential students. There are two canteens and one cafe within the premises. The college cafeteria is managed and run by a leading chain of cafes in the city.
To promote sports and physical fitness amongst the students, the campus has both indoor and outdoor sports facilities. The campus has a large gym for the use by students.
State Bank of India runs its counter within the campus of AMC Engineering College Bangalore along with an ATM facility for the benefit of students and faculty members. The college also houses a post office within the campus premises.
To make ladies of the college more comfortable, the college established a ladies lounge in 2015 for the benefit of all the lady staff of the college.
The AMC College of Engineering has a health centre headed by a resident doctor. The health care department handles all emergency medical situations of students, faculty and support staff.
AMC Engineering College Bangalore Admission Process:
Admissions in AMEC is open to students from both karnataka and outside the state. Students who have secured a minimum of 45% marks in the 12th boards in the preceding academic year are eligible to apply for a seat at AMC College of Engineering.
Students must have compulsorily taken up english as the main language and Physics and Mathematics as the main subjects, with any of the following subjects being one of the optional subjects.Â
Students must pay a fee of Rs 1000/- for the application form and prospectus at the time of admission. Further, an amount of Rs 25000 shall be paid by the student for admission counseling and processing fee.There is an insurance fee of Rs21,500
