The Janatha Shikshana Samitis R.S Hukkerikar Pre University Arts, Science, and commerce college is located on a sprawling campus in Vidyagiri Dharwad. The college has always been at the forefront in all spheres of education, sports, or extracurricular activities 
Infrastructure
JSS PU College Dharwad has all the required facilities of a modern educational institution. The library has a vast collection of academic books for students. There is comfortable and spacious seating in the library, making it convenient for students to read books. The college has dedicated laboratories for the different sciences. To enhance student learning, the college has dedicated separate chemistry, physics, biology and computer labs.  It has a food court that serves tasty and nutritious food to students. The college has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. Hostels safety measures are in place. They have a warden that ensures the safety of students in the hostel. JSS pu college is regarded as one of the best PU Colleges in Dharwad, catering to the holistic development of students. 

It has a big student auditorium for all social and academic programs. The college houses its own bank branch within its campus for the convenience of students. A health clinic is located on the college campus.

The faculty is appointed after a thorough selection process, thereby making it one of the top PU colleges in Dharwad. Apart from academics, the college offers many extra-curricular activities. The college hosts many cultural events . It encourages students to participate in various cultural events in some form or the other.
