Laxmi Memorial College of Physiotherapy has a full fledged physiotherapy clinic in the college premises, to provide students with excellent exposure and training in treating patients with the advanced physiotherapy equipment under the guidance of faculty members. The college also have access to the most modern clinical facilities of the 750 bedded A J Hospital which is attached to the medical college.
College has an ample library with the latest editions of medical and physiotherapy books, subscriptions to professional and popular periodicals, journals, Internet facilities and an access to online journals. Around 3,000 books are available for the students and teachers to make use of. The library is kept open till late in the evening.
Classes at Laxmi College of Physiotherapy are taken using the latest equipment like LCD, OHP etc. with power point and video presentations.
The college gymnasium is structured to enhance the physical as well as mental orientation of students into sports physiotherapy. They are trained by experts and special attention is given to participation in sports.
A fleet of buses are maintained by the college to provide transport facilities to the students. The hostilities can use the bus facility to attend classes, the clinic or library and to get back to the hostel. Other students and staff can avail the facility from college to hospital and back to college .College bus is provided for other inter college sports, cultural events, academic events.
Laxmi Memorial College of Physiotherapy Admission Procedure:
Eligibility for BPT: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, English, and Biology with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Eligibility for MPT: Candidates who have passed B.Sc. (PT) or BPT degree with full time mode of study, with minimum 3½ years / 4 ½ years duration from this university or any other university OR Candidates who have passed BPT through Bridge Course or through Lateral Entry after completing their Diploma in Physiotherapy from institutions in India or abroad as equivalent with not less than 50% of marks in aggregate and have completed 6 months of compulsory rotating internship in Physiotherapy Colleges recognized by RGUHS – Karnataka are eligible. Candidates who have passed BPT through correspondence or Distance Education program are not eligible.

12th standard equivalent marks card / pass certificate - Original + 3 attested photocopies.
10th standard pass certificate for proof of date of birth - Original + 3 attested photocopies.
Transfer certificate from the institution last attended - Original + 3 attested photocopies.
Conduct certificate from the institution last attended - Original only.
Migration certificate from the Board of the institution last studied (if the student has passed out of Karnataka PUC).
Physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
Blood group certificate.
Photographs - passport size 5, stamp size 5.
