About college

The St Josephs PU College Bangalore is a religious minority institution run by the Bangalore Jesuit Educational society for the education of the Catholic Youth. The St Josephs College is a timeless institution that was established in 1882. In 1937 the management of the institution was handed over to the Jesuits. In 2001, the Pre University college was bifurcated from graduate studies as directed by the Government of Karnataka. St Josephs Arts, science and Commerce college was thus formed. 

Infrastructure and Facilities
The St Josephs Pre University College, Bangalore is regarded as one of the top PU colleges in the city. The college has state of the art infrastructure and facilities and provides top class education to students. 

Library- The college has a fully functional library with a large collection of books and reference material. Students are encouraged to use the library services during the specific timings and also borrow books while strictly adhering to library rules and regulations. For text books and other books, the college has a long term borrowing scheme which allows under privileged students to borrow the text books for the entire year. 

Cafeteria- The in-campus cafeteria serves healthy and hygienic food and snacks to students at subsidised rates. The management also sponsors the mid-Day meals scheme for deserving students.

Music room- St Jospehs PU college encourages young talent and for this purpose a separate room for music and cultural activities has been demarcated. 

Grievance cell- For the benefit of students, the management has established a grievance cell for students for easy communication.

Applicants seeking admission in St Josephs PU college must have completed 10th or its equivalent from any board recognised by the Department for Pre-University Education.

Admission

St Joseph Pre University College Bangalore Admission Procedure:
