Sitaram Jindal Scholarship

The Sitaram Jindal foundation is one of the most popular and trusted international NGOs in Bangalore. It was established in 1969 by the noted humanitarian Dr Sitaram Jindal. The organisation works for the progress and development of the downtrodden people of the society in the education and healthcare sectors. Every year, the foundation distributes around 12,000 scholarships to students of different educational backgrounds.

Popular Front of India Loan scheme

Popular Front of India offers scholarship support awarded based on Need, Academic Merit, Background, Specific Talents or Professional Interests. Preference will be given to applicants whose course choices relate to the priority areas like Journalism, Law, Social Work etc. After graduation and gainful employment, All scholarship beneficiaries are obliged to sponsor needy students. Kindly contribute to improve socio-economic status of other less privileged students once you are successful.

LIC Scholarship

Scholarship will be awarded to those students who have scored minimum 60% marks. Parents income should not exceed Rs. 100000/- per annum. Scholarship shall be given to only one student in a family. If student go against any terms and conditions of fellowship, LIC Scholarship may be suspended or canceled.

PRIME MINISTER’S SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME

Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme (PMSS) was announced by the then Hon’ble Prime Ministers of India. Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme was introduced from the Academic year 2008-09 for RPF. It was introduced to encourage higher technical and professional education for the dependent wards of Ex/Serving RPF/RPSF personnel and widows (below the Rank of Gazetted officer)

Fair and Lovely Foundation Scholarship

Fair and Lovely Foundation Scholarship 2018 is an initiative of Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) which invites applications from the college-going girl candidates only. Girl students studying in coaching classes are also eligible to apply. The total number of scholarships to be disbursed for the year 2018 is 55. Interested candidate must have scored 60% marks or above in class 10 and 12 board examinations.

Arivu (Education Loan) Scheme

Under this scheme religious minority students who are desirous for pursuing professional courses like Medical, Engineering, Dental, Master Degree Courses, Diploma Courses, Nursing, B.Ed, BBM, BCA, D.Ed, D-pharma, Pharma-D and ITI are provided financial assistance ranging from Rs.10,000/- to Rs.75,000/- per year till completion of the course.

HDFC Scholarship

HDFC scholarship is means based scholarship offered by the HDFC Bank to the students of class 6 to 12, graduation and postgraduation. To financially support to students who belong to the socially and economically disadvantaged group of the society. The HDFC scholarship provides a scholarship amount of INR 10,000 to INR 25,000.

Santoor Scholarship

Santoor Women’s Scholarship 2018 is being offered by Wipro consumer care Division every year. The scholarship objective is to encourage & support girls to continue their studies after 12th. Every year approx 900 students get this scholarship. This Scholarship only available for students who belong to AP, Telangana & Karnataka. Students get approx Rs 24000 per annum for three years once they selected in this scholarship.

​National Merit Scholarship

​National Merit Scholarship is being awarded to students to provide financial assistance to the meritorious students of rural areas studying degree and post-graduation. This Scholarships will be paid only to those students whose parent’s/guardian’s income from all sources does not exceed Rs.1.00 lakh per annum.

Government of India, Ministry of Minority Affairs is implementing the scheme Nai Udaan- Scheme for Support to Minority Students for preparation of Main Examination, who clear Prelims conducted by Union Public Service Commission, Staff Selection Commission, State Public Service Commissions The objective of the Scheme is to provide financial support to the minority candidates clearing prelims conducted by Union Public Service Commission, Staff Selection Commission and State Public Service Commissions to adequately equip them to compete for appointment to Civil Services in the Union and the State Governments and to increase the representation of the minority in the Civil Services.

Begum Hazrat Mahal Scholarship

The Scheme of "Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship" for Girl Students belonging to the Minority Communities was earlier known as "Maulana Azad National Scholarship" Scheme. It was started by the Foundation in academic year 2003-04. The main purpose of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to meritorious girl students belonging to national minorities, who cannot continue their education due to lack of financial support.

Post Matric Scholarship

Post Matric Scholarship scheme was formed to provide equal opportunity to the minority groups in the country. The scholarship scheme is carried out under Ministry of minority affairs(MOMA), established to provide financial aid to students who belong to the minority community(Muslims, Christians, Sikhs Jains, Zoroastrians (Parsis) & Buddhists and from economically backward communities of the society. Under MOMA Post Matric Scholarship , the amount of RS. 10,000-10,700 are distributed to the candidates whose family income is less than 2 lakh rupees per annum.Apart from the renewal, 5 lakhs fresh scholarship are distributed under Pre-Matric Scholarship. 30% scholarships are reserved only for girls.
