Ambedkar Pre University College Bangalore was founded by Dr. Ambedkar Memorial Education Trust. This Institution was started by late Sri. D. Bashkaran, Ex-Deputy Mayor in the year 1978 in the name of Dr. Ambedkar, to impart higher education to the subdued and weaker sections of the society. Within a span of three decades over ten thousand students have availed the benefit of getting education from this Institution. The college promotes the ideals of equality and human dignity.
