Sri Aurobindo Pre-University College Shimoga was established in 2001, managed by Jnanadeepa Vidya Samste and sponsored by Sri Aurobindo foundation for Education (SAFE). The main aim of the college is to tap and nurture local talent, develop all-round personality of students and create an ideal atmosphere for achieving excellence in every walk of life. Aurobindo PU College Shimoga is affiliated to the Govt of Karnataka.?The PUC is so structured as to benefit students providing Bridge course and Remedial courses to help the students. The performance of the students will be continuously monitored to bring those who lag behind on par with the rest.
