MES PU College Bangalore was started in 1956-57 as an intermediate course by five enlightened citizens Sri G.A.Acharya, Sri M Chinnaswamy, Prof M.P.L Sastry, Prof B.R. Subba Rao and Smt. Vimala Rangachar. In the year 2001 the college divided the branches into PU College, Degree College, PG Centre in Mathematics and research center in applied mathematics.?The College is affiliated to the Department of Pre-University Education, Government of Karnataka, India.
