We believe that a ship is only as good as the crew who sails it, so the Samundra Institute of Maritime Studies (SIMS) was founded with the goal of building a pool of high-caliber seafarers trained at all levels to operate in the increasingly demanding maritime sector.

Both the Post-Sea Facility in Mumbai and the Pre-Sea Training Center in Lonavala are dedicated to providing Indians with an exceptional maritime training opportunity that goes above and beyond the worldwide mandatory criteria.
