Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology (MVIT), located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, is

a distinguished engineering institution established in 1986 by the Sri Krishnadevaraya

Educational Trust. The institute is named after Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, a

renowned Indian engineer and statesman.
