The National PU College, located in the center of Bangalore, is a model of academic excellence and all-around growth. The Governing Council of the National Education Society of Karnataka runs the College. The Governing body, which includes one representative from the Governing Council, N.E.S. office bearers, the Principal of the National College, Basavanagudi, the College Council Secretary, and a Teacher representation, oversees college operations. Since its founding, the College has had teaching staff representation in management. This democratic structure distinguishes the College Council.

Admission Requirements:
  • On dates notified by the Department of Pre-University Education, Government of Karnataka, National Pre-University College will post application forms on its website.
  • Candidates for varied combinations must submit separate application forms with class 10th marks cards.
  • The College's notice board will list the chosen applicants.
  • The applicants and their parents must interview with the Principal on the specified day.
  • College counseling sessions are mandatory for candidates and their parents.
Selecting Procedure:
  • After admission and payment, the chosen students' names will be included in the register.
  • The Principal-led admission committee will interview students before admitting them.Parents and students must attend the interview.

Facilities

National Pre University College Library has been housed in the multi-storied building. The college Library consists of 75,000 books. The Library is fully Computerized with Barcode system. Internet facility and E-Library. There is qualified librarian in charge of the library. A well equipped  Reference Section is housed in the first floor of the building.

The college has a hostel located in the premises. Boarding and lodging facilities are provided for 70 boys. The administration of the Hostel is controlled by the National Education Society and managed by the wardens.

The College has two large auditorium, each of which can accommodate about six hundred students. All important functions like, Inauguration of college activities, College Day, Drama Festival, Cultural Activities etc. are conducted in the Indoor Auditorium.

The College also has a large Multi media Seminar Hall. It is equipped with audio-visual facilities and has seating capacity for 300 people.

All able-bodied students, can join either N.C.C. or N.S.S. Both the boys and the girls of the college are eligible to join National Service Scheme (N.S.S.)

National PU college provides facilities for playing Basket Ball, Cricket, Football, Hockey, Volleyball, Shuttle-Badminton, Kho-Kho, Athletics Ball, Badminton, Throw-ball, Softball and Tennis.

They also have a well equipped multi-gym and fitness center for the use of students and members of the staff.

Admission

National Pre University College Bangalore Admission Procedure:

Application for admission in the prescribed form should be submitted to the Principal on or before the due date specified on the college notice board. Students will be interviewed along with parents by the Principal, before granting admission

*Marks Card of the previous Examination

*The Medical examination Certificate from the previous Institution.

*Latest certificates in the case of students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Cat I Group.
