Kasturba Medical College (KMC) Mangalore

Kasturba Medical College Mangalore was estabilished in the year 1955 by TMA Pai. In 1958 KMC Mangalore was recognized by the Medical Council of India(MCI).
rnThe college also got recognition by The General Medical Council of Britian(GMC), The Malaysian Medical Council and The Australian Medical Council.
rn In the initial days, the KMC College Mangalore was associated to Karnataka University and in 1965 it came under Mysore University and in 1980 the college was affiliated to Mangalore University.

rnIn 1993 when Government of India gave the deemed university status to Manipal Academy of higher education, Kasturba Medical College Mangalore came under its wing.
