In our previous blog we have mentioned the various streams you can opt for after your 10th grade. To recap, we had mentioned there are three main courses you can opt for, that is, Arts, Commerce and now we come to the science stream.
Here we will discuss the various career options open to you after completing your 10 +2 in the science stream.
When you take up the science stream, it means you have an analytical and critical thinking capacity, which is important to pursue a career in science.
Let’s now look at a comprehensive but not exhaustive list of career opportunities in the sciences.
Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology
The most popular courses after 10+2 are the Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) and the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) courses.
The course is completed in 4 years. Now the most obvious question is what is the difference between a Bachelor of Engineering and a Bachelor of Technology course.
While the difference is more in the approach to the subjects, the courses are more or less similar, with interchangeable subject material.
A candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering course is more likely to have an aptitude towards theoretical concepts.
Whereas a student pursuing a Bachelor of Technology is more likely to have a practical approach. While the difference is minor, importance is given to the final demeanour of the student.
